Management Committee report was accepted following discussion of the points 4 to 9 below. The report, which was sent to all member clubs before the meeting, was presented by the Chairman, who proposed adoption as written
3. Financial report
The report was presented and the level of deficit in the year discussed.
Acceptance of report proposed by Espiche and seconded by Boavista
The MC proposed that the cost for finals day be increased to €80 per player
The Interclub funds suffered a substantial deficit in 2024 and this was not sustainable. There was a suggestion from Palmares and Penina that the teams for finals day should be reduced from 6 to 4 which would keep costs down. The consensus of opinion, was that other teams are happy to keep at 6 players per club as it enables them to include more of their team in the event.
The increase was then approved
Proposed by PDF, seconded by Amendoeira
Vale de Lobo stated that they would be pleased to host Finals day in 2025 on 1st December and the cost is estimated at between €95 and €100. The MC said they would consider a written submission but the proposed cost had to be competitive.
