Set on undulating land, not far from Carvoeiro, Val da Pinta and Gramacho is the work of master course design : Ronald Fream. As soon as he saw the land Fream declared it ' God given ' for golf. Val da Pinta gained Championship stutus by hosting five consecutive Seniors Tour events successfully.
Gramacho hosted the Ladies Open in 2003.
